We believe it’s about more than riding.

Our Approach

We believe that horsemanship involves more than riding well. It involves caring for and maintaining the animal and equipment. We believe it is important to know how to recognize a sick or injured horse, as well as knowing what can be handled “in house” and what requires a call to the veterinarian.  We believe horse and barn hygiene play a huge role in the horse’s well being.

We strive to teach the ability to ride as well as all things horse. This includes but is not limited to, grooming, tacking, safe horse handling, stall cleaning, feeding, minor vet care, tack maintenance, bathing, and loading.

Because of our beliefs, some lessons are taught from the ground.
